DIRECT TO PAPER

I love things that WOW me.  Direct to Paper is one of those classes that really speaks to me.  You can get down and be messy and the results speak for themselves.  In this class students will learn the technique of applying ColorBox Chalk ink directly to glossy paper, add a splash of rubbing alcohol and buff it a bit.  WOW.  Cost $25.00

Itty Bitty Art

Remember the old days of shrink dinks?  Well those days are back with a twist.  Now it's referred to as shrink plastic art.  In this class you'll create a one of a kind masterpiece.   

You’ll learn how to color shrink plastic and give it bling by adding wire art, beads or rhinestones.  You'll also learn how to give your tiles a dimensional look.  The end result is very versatile and will depend on you, your piece can be worn as a pin, necklace or if jewelry's not your thing it can be made into a magnet or card.   As always I will bring many stamps in which to choose from.  Cost $35.

Paper Clay Dolls

Create a whimsical paper clay doll adorned with beaded hari.  Students are asked to bring clay shapers, clay cutting tools (x-acto knife, cutting mat and small scissors for cutting the threads.  Bring reading glasses if you wear them for the close up beading work.  Cost is $25.00

SPRITZ Backgrounds

This is a highly addictive background technique class that uses those spray washes that you've been wondering what to do with to create three beautiful cards.  You will also use masking techniques to create one of the cards.

Students are asked to bring a craft sheet if they have one.

Don’t Stress – Distress It!

This is a messy fun class!   You’ll get your creative juices flowing when you apply acrylic paints to gesso’ed card stock to create three dynamic looking cards with complex backgrounds.  New artists will learn about acrylic paints, gesso, paper distressor and splodgers. Cost is $28.00

BATIK IT

If you’ve ever admired batik art, you’ll be amazed how easy it is to apply this technique to rubber stamped images.  You will create three Batik cards for any occasion. You will also learn about walnut ink, paper distressor and Versa Mark ink.

Paper Clay Faces

Create two face pins using Paper Clay. You will learn two techniques for coloring the paper clay.  We will add wire art to each piece.

Domino Wire Art Necklaces

Let the wire inspire you.  Create a one of a kind necklace that will amaze your friends when they find out it is actually a domino.  You will learn a unique watercolor effect to enhance your stamped domino.  Then you will learn to wire wrap and add wire art to complete your necklace. You will have several rubber stamp images from which to choose.

This can either be a five hour class or split into two parts for 2 hours the first session and 3 hours the second session. Cost $65.00

Masking Technique - fun a learn a few magic techniques using a stamp positioner, clear mask tape, foil and paper puffer and more to create three beautiful cards. Cost $25.00
